Ruth is the author of a range of articles for clients including BBC Countryfile Magazine, Folklore Thursday and The Countryman.

She acts as consultant to publishers and authors on the development and commissioning of new projects in a wide range of subjects including natural history, the countryside, animal and plant lore, gardening, health, cookery, popular science, country house life and children's books.
